Floral Summer Martinis

Refresh this summer with stunning and fragrant floral martinis at The Egerton House Hotel in Knightsbridge.

The beautiful redbrick facade of the Egerton House has been transformed for the summer with a stunning floral display by Jane Wadham.

Inside the hotel, the Drawing Room is intimate and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a cocktail, light bite or indulge with afternoon tea.

To celebrate the season, bar manager Sahbi Zguider has created a range of floral martinis using ingredients and syrups distilled in the spring to refresh you in the summer.

The Lychee Martini is delicate and sweet, mixed with vodka, homemade lychee syrup and rosewater. All the martinis are made with Kavka Estate Vodka, a small batch vodka from Poland with a bold and distinctive taste.

Famous for their trademark Egerton Slurp, martinis are filled to the brim so the only way to avoid spilling even one delicious drop is to sip your cocktail straight from the table before lifting your glass.

The Cherry Martini is bold and fruity with a rich homemade cherry syrup and orange blossom water.

However our favourite was the Violet Martini, so beautifully floral and fragrant, with lemon juice, crème de violet and Cointreau making it the perfect summer cocktail.

A trip to the Egerton would not be complete without trying their signature Vesper Martini, created for you at your table which creates a wonderful spectacle.

Served in a frozen glass with a dash of vermouth, Martin Miller’s Gin and Kavka Estate Vodka chilled to -22C and a twist of orange - we believe it might be the best martini in the city!
