The Vaults

Plied And Prejudice

Experience Jane Austen as never before with Plied & Prejudice at The Vaults in Waterloo.

Located at our favourite immersive venue The Vaults, the theatre has been transformed into Pemberley and though the show itself is seated, there’s plenty of audience interaction and a chance to immerse yourself at the "wedding" after party.

In a strange love letter to the original story, your favourite characters are reimagined in the most silly, drunken and comedic way as they re-enact the whole story of Pride and Prejudice.

Reading the trigger warnings for the show with a list including “Drugs & Alcohol, Course Language and Inappropriate Jokes” may be a bit of a shock but all you really need to know is that it’s hilarious, light hearted and so much fun.

We're not saying that puritanical Austen fans will approve but if you love the book and you’ve got a sense of humour, you’re really going to enjoy yourself and even if you haven’t read the book, you’re still in for a good time.

The cast are incredible, taking on multiple roles - sometimes with both characters in the scene leading to very rushed costume changes. It’s impressive that they’re able to keep so organised.

We loved how they recreated Colin Firth's fountain scene with a bucket of water and ladies from the audience holding water guns. It looked effective and was hysterical.

Though there's not enough time to cover all 448 pages of the book in 120 minutes, they give it a bloody good shot so expect fast paced, high-energy entertainment.

Extended until October 25th by popular demand, don't miss your chance to see Plied & Prejudice so book your ticket today.
