Telegraph Hill is a quiet residential hill and public park in southeast London, between New Cross, Nunhead and Brockley.
Rising to about 50 metres, its Upper Park delivers one of the capital’s least-crowded panoramic views of the skyline — The Shard, St Paul’s Cathedral, Canary Wharf, the BT Tower and far beyond.
Completely free and relatively peaceful, it is a favourite for sunsets, picnics, New Year fireworks and everyday walks.
The park is split by Kitto Road into an Upper Park (views, tennis courts, dogs welcome) and a Lower Park (playgrounds, ponds, ornamental garden, dog-free).
Just beside the park sits the community-run Hill Station Café.
Nearest stations: Nunhead, Brockley or New Cross Gate.
