Parliament Hill

Parliament Hill is a 98-metre grassy summit on the southern edge of Hampstead Heath, offering one of London’s best free panoramic views of the city skyline.

From the top you can see St Paul’s Cathedral, the Shard, Canary Wharf, the BT Tower and far beyond. Open 24 hours a day and completely free, it is a popular spot for sunrises, sunsets, picnics, kite flying and quiet walks. The view is legally protected.

Nearby you’ll find the Heath’s famous swimming ponds, the historic Parliament Hill Lido, a café, playgrounds and easy links into the wider Heath.

Nearest stations: Hampstead Heath or Gospel Oak Overground.
