Troubadour

Dinner & Jazz

Enjoy an evening of dinner, drinks and jazz with the Troubadour in West Brompton.

Part pub, restaurant and music venue, the Troubadour is a hidden gem you really have to visit. With walls covered in antiques and musical instruments, it's got a warm and welcoming atmosphere with an eclectic clientele.

As a pub, the drink selection is fantastic, with a wide range of wine and steins of beer to classic and premium cocktails. The Old Fashioned  was one of the best we’ve tried with Woodford Reserve and Angostura bitters.

Serving brunch and dinner with a seasonal menu featuring British and American classics with a French twist, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

We loved the Warm Goats Cheese Pistachio Salad with roasted goats cheese, pistachios, honey glazed apricots and sesame seeds on a bed of mixed leaf in a balsamic dressing.

We can certainly see why the Slow Braised Brisket Burger is a customer favourite. The brisket is so tender and succulent, smothered in house-made sticky red onion, and topped with Applewood smoked cheddar, house pickles and smoked streaky bacon.

Make sure to save room for dessert as the Gooey Sticky Toffee Pudding is absolutely delicious, served hot with Madagascan vanilla ice cream, strawberries and caramel sauce.

The Troubadour is an institution on the independent music scene. Established in 1954, the venue has hosted everyone from Bob Dylan and Elvis Costello to Adele and Ed Sheeran. They’ve even got a shrine to Jimi Hendrix in the basement.

Today, the venue hosts bands and performers from around the globe and it’s jazz night every Sunday and Monday. We were lucky enough to catch the fantastic Sebastiaan de Krom Trio as we enjoyed our dinner.

Discover the delicious menu, find out what's on and book your table at the Troubadour website.
