Alfresco Dishes, Pide & Frozen Cocktails


Dine alfresco style this summer at The Terrace by Megan’s surrounded by the greenery of Clapham Common.

Set in the beautiful surroundings of the park, the terrace is an adorable dog-friendly sunny space with plants, fairy lights and the chic decor you'd expect from Megan's. Things are done a little differently at this location with a QR code to order food and it's Walk-In Only, so it seemed as though you could pick any table you like and seat yourself.  

Cool down from the heat with a delicious cocktail, cold beer or bottle of Mirabeau Sparkling Rose in a bucket of ice.

The frozen cocktails are perfect for summer with a Frosé with frozen rosé, strawberry and elderflower and Frozen Mango & Passion Fruit Margarita with Olmeca Balnco tequila, mango, passion fruit and lime.

Tuck into some small plates with your table to start including the delicious Falafel & Hummus with fresh green zhug, chives, paprika and flatbread.

We loved the Halloumi Fries, served perfectly crisp and drizzled with sweet honey. It's a good idea to request some cutlery to enjoy this dish because it's a little stickier than the rest of the finger food.

For the ultimate alfresco dish, order a pide, served hot from the wood-fired oven with options including Burrata & Prosciutto, Charred Tenderstem & Piri Piri and N’duja & Labneh to choose from.

Our favourite was the Posh Lamb Doner Pide which looked beautiful with overnight braised lamb shoulder, feta, pistachio, hummus, imam bayildi and red cabbage.

The Green Basil Margherita Pide is a great option for vegetarians with tomato, mozzarella and basil pesto sprinkled with chives and nigella seeds.

With the rule "If it isn't raining, we are OPEN", this is a lovely spot for a nice day and luckily, if the weather is being typically British, Megan's Clapham Old Town is a short walk away.
