Kraken ScreamFest 6

Kraken ScreamFest returned to London for the 6th year this Halloween with cocktails, arcade machines and a terrifying game of hide in seek.  

Hosted in The Ditch beneath Shoreditch Town Hall, guests signed wavers and donned protective ponchos before exploring a labyrinth of creepy underground rooms. 

Racing against the clock, the goal was to collect as many gold coins as possible without being captured by a masked cult that worship ’The Beast'. 

From hiding in cupboards, boxes or a sarcophagus to sheltering in a running shower, the experience was truly terrifying with captured players being locked in a cage.  

Players could then settle their nerves at the bar, cashing in the gold coins for a menu of deliciously eerie Kraken rum cocktails.   

We loved The Soul Snatcher with Kraken Black Spiced Rum, lime, sugar, Velvet Falernum, pineapple and bitters served in a glass rimmed with glowing goo and the Armoured Rumtini with Kraken Black Spiced Rum Roast Coffee, espresso and pumpkin spiced syrup.  

With new challengers entering the maze every 20 minutes, watch on CCTV as others battle the cult or have another go digitally on the arcade machines featuring a game with the same map.  

Immersive, thrilling and spooky, the Kraken team have succeeded again to create one of the best Halloween events in the city.
