<p>Sadiq Aman Khan, Baron Khan of Tooting is a British politician who has served as Mayor of London since 2016. He was previously the member of Parliament (MP) for Tooting from 2005 to 2016. He was elevated to the House of Lords as a life peer in 2026. A member of the Labour Party, Khan is on the party's soft left and has been ideologically characterised as a social democrat.</p>
