Wagamama Launch Party


We’re celebrating the launch of Wagamama Marble Arch with Bloody Marys, Japanese food and origami.

With over 20 locations in the city, Wagamama has become a staple for Japanese dining in London.

Poppi Music hit the decks while drinks were served at the bar.

Bloody Drinks put a Japanese twist on the Bloody Mary by adding sake, miso, wasabi and teriyaki to the mix which tasted delicious.

Hawkes Cider were also serving up tasting platters of their cider including Hawkes VS Wagamama, a collaboration cider designed to pair perfectly with Pan-Asian dishes.

Food was served throughout the night with delicious sharing dishes to tuck into from the menu.

Meat-eaters could dip Ebi Katsu into chilli + garlic sauce, enjoy Miso Glazed Chicken Yakitori or tuck into Duck Gyoza and Pulled Pork Steamed Gyoza.

We loved the Wagamama classic Chilli Squid, sprinkled with shichimi spice and served with a delicious chilli & coriander sauce.

Vegans could enjoy all the same dishes too with meat-free versions of all the classics available including Sticky Vegan Ribs, Vegan Chilli Squid made with battered king oyster mushrooms, Sticky Miso Corn with red chilli & sesame seeds, Fried Yasai Gyoza and Edamame with chilli garlic salt.

Coco Sato was also on hand with origami classes, teaching guests how to make their own origami squid.

A Korean inspired Ssambap Station opened later in the evening offering late night snacks. Guests could grab a leaf of baby gem lettuce and fill it with a choice of turmeric & ginger chicken, pork belly, tamari marinated tempeh or miso mushrooms before topping it with pickled slaw and hot chilli kimchee miso sauce.
