All aboard The Grand Duchess for delicious seafood with the London Shell Company.

Located on a barge in Paddington Basin, The Grand Duchess is a gorgeous spot for a tasty lunch or romantic dinner.

Start your meal with  freshly shucked Jersey Oysters. Both the classic and special served with miso and pickled wild garlic were incredible.

Moving on to the next course, the crab was so fresh, served on a bed of charred leeks with a hen’s egg and mustard vinaigrette which packed the perfect subtle kick.

Aromatic yet subtle, the Smoked Mackerel is a beautiful dish served with house pickles and a horseradish cream.

Perfect for a cold day on the canal, the Cornish Cod is a warming and hearty dish, served on a bed of puy lentils, potatoes and bacon.

However, our favourite dish had to be the Scottish Sea Trout which paired perfectly with blood orange, fennel, caramelised onions and hazelnuts for a sweet and succulent dish.
