The Drop Bar

Drinks, Snacks & Toasties

Drop by The Drop Bar in Kings Cross for incredible drinks, nibbles and the tastiest toasties.

A stylish neighbourhood spot with rustic decor in Coal Drops Yard, this bar is ideal for after works drinks outside in the summer or cosying up in the caverns inside for a romantic night in the winter.
Offering a carefully curated menu of wine, beer with a revolving IPA on tap, spirts and cocktails - there's a tipple for every occasion.
Start your day with a spicy Bloody Mary or celebrate with a sparkling Strawberry Bellini.
There's no better way to stay refreshed than the Summer Spritzes menu on a hot day. We loved the Limoncello Spritz with limoncello, yuzu, prosecco and tonic.
When you're feeling peckish, the kitchen offers a delicious section of small plates, nibbles and desserts.
Bar snacks are taken to a whole new level with Pecorino & Black Pepper Breadsticks, Llios Olives Mix and Marcona Almonds among the offerings.
Putting a twist on a pub classic, the Beer Battered Fish Bits are served in a surprisingly spicy batter with homemade tartare sauce to cool them down.
However, it's the toasties that steal the show with a choice of the meltingly marvellous Marmite, Shallot & Cheese Toastie and meat-feast Short Rib & horseradish Toastie to choose from.
There's also a guest toastie which changes each month and we were lucky enough to try the Korean Tuna & Pickled Ginger Toastie created by award-winning food writer Gurd Loyal. It's a unique and spicy tuna melt layered with Gochujang Korean chilli paste, pickled ginger, radish and cheese.
Accepting walk-ins only with locations in Kings Cross and at Battersea Power Station, it's time to check out The Drop for yourself.
