Enjoy authentic Italian dining, made from traditional family recipes at Rossella

A local favourite in Kentish Town, Rossella has expanded and opened a second branch in Muswell Hill. The new restaurant is stylish and charming with a light-up marble bar, family photos on the walls and touches of Italian kitsch throughout.

The first restaurant opened in Benevento, Italy in 1960 before bringing their passion for cooking to London. The menu is a feast of dishes and flavours to share, making it an ideal place to gather together your family and friends.

Start with some small plates and antipasti to wake up your palette. The Carpaccio Di Filetto was so fresh, a hand-beaten beef carpaccio dressed in lemon and mustard vinaigrette with aged Parmigiano shavings.

If you love the taste of truffle, Arancini Al Tartufo are incredible with mushrooms, truffle and walnuts and a creamy and rich aged Parmigiano sauce.

There are so many pasta dishes to try, including ravioli and risotto, meaning there's something for everyone. The Mafalde Ragù Di Agnello was spicy and heart-warming with pappardelle, slow-braised lamb ragù, smoked stracciatella and homemade chilli oil.

A really interesting choice is the Gorgonzola Pizza, the combination of gorgonzola dolce, roasted pear, toasted walnuts and basil is absolutely stunning and you choose to have it on a white or red base.

Meat lovers must try the Pollo Saltimbocca with pan-seared chicken breast wrapped in prosciutto and fresh sage in white wine butter sauce. It's served with sautéed potatoes and tenderstem broccoli.

Our favourite dish was the beautiful Branzino Al Limone with pan-fried sea bass in a sauce of baby prawns, brown butter, lemon and white wine served with sautéed potatoes and green beans. The potatoes are also incredible.
