Emilia’s newest location, the Victoria Street restaurant is cosy and bright with two floors and a window into the kitchen where you can see the pasta magic taking place.
The menu focuses on soul-warming comfort food with a small but perfectly curated selection of antipasti, salads, pasta and Italian desserts.
Made fresh every day, the pasta is made with traditional techniques using only the freshest and most natural ingredients. Ideal for vegans, the Pistachio Pesto Casarecce was one of the most delicious and beautiful pasta dishes we have tried with creamy homemade pistachio pesto and sautéed cherry tomatoes.
Keeping it simple but delicious, the Truffled Cacio e Pepe Casarecce really lets you taste the quality of the pasta with a cheese and pepper sauce and truffle on top.
Our favourite dish was the Yellowfin Tuna Puttanesca Bucatini with a spicy tomato sauce topped with olives and capers and thick chunks of tender tuna steak.
Even though we could eat the pasta all day, try to save a little space for dessert as there's a great selection to enjoy from cheesecake and tiramisu to Italian gelato and vegan sorbet. The Chocolate Salami With Sea Salt was the perfect little treat to end our meal.
We can't wait to go back to try the rest of the menu and you can find your nearest location and explore the menu for yourself at the Emilia's Crafted Pasta website.
