CORD by Le Cordon Bleu

9-Course Tasting Menu

Experience an exceptional evening of fine dining with CORD by Le Cordon Bleu on Fleet Street.

Based in the heart of the city, CORD by Le Cordon Bleu is London's first fine dining restaurant from the famed culinary arts institute offering an experience second-to-none. With over 125 years of heritage, the tasting menu is the perfect way to sample the delights and delicacies that executive chef Karl O’Dell and his team have to offer.

The magic begins the moment you're seated with five-star service and a seasonal menu that is always evolving and innovating. Each dish is beautifully curated and presented with flavours and surprises which keep you intrigued and delighted from the amuse bouche to the final course.

The experience is open for everyone with both a traditional and plant-based menu available. Both the Chalk Stream Trout and Cucumber, with pickled kombucha, cayenne pepper and citrus were packed with flavour.

Featuring the finest seasonal ingredients, the Asparagus is the perfect combination with creamy comté, earthy morels and salty Alsace bacon.

Delights for both the eyes and the tastebuds, the Cornish Crab is wrapped in squid with parsley and finger lime, while the Balsamic Marinated Beetroots are served with horseradish, cashew nuts, soil and shimeji.

The Black Truffle is a true highlight of the meal with shiitake and black garlic on sourdough served with a rich and creamy truffle pâté wrapped in a chocolate shell.

Vibrant and cooked to perfection, the BBQ Monkfish with avocado, date molasses and basil comes next.

The Challans Quail provides a show-stopping finale to the savoury courses as it's brought out on a bed of moss with smoking cinnamon sticks before being served with smoked duck, pink peppercorn and celeriac and a foie gras donut.

Meanwhile, vegetarians can indulge with the Caramelised Celeriac, a rich and heart-warming dish with tamarind, girolles and chestnut.

The perfect palate cleanser, a playful twist on the Gin & Tonic comes next with a refreshing sorbet and surprising bubble which pops in your mouth.

For the perfect ending, dessert is served with a Banoffee Souffle Tart with banana, caramel and hazelnut or Chocolate Delice made with 70% Guanaja chocolate, caramel sorbet, spiced hazelnuts and gold.
